These folks are a "local" band around the Boston area. At least I don't see that they've been playing national tours and I don't see them signed to a big label. Anyways, I like them. They are in that alternative realm, and somewhat emo-ish at times. They move between their more frequent light but thicker sound and heavier sections. So maybe a bit metal-ish or post-hardcore.
I think they could really go somewhere, if... Well, one example is a part of a song with growly vocals. They performed it well, but it felt that the vocals were too dissonant. Either not enough movement going into the section, or the contrast didn't have a purpose. If they were to refine/smooth-out their sound, they could easily get a bigger following. If they don't want to, though, gotta respect following your own vision.
